Congratulations, Joe You can be very proud to have accomplished something many dream of, but few do. Welcome home, good luck reacclimating, look forward to seeing you soon. Beard and Hair are even longer!! How long will they go???
You made life long accomplishment and should be very proud of yourself. I am pleased to have gotten to see your wonderful pictures and comments.Your memories of this adventure will live with you always. Great job Joe
Thanks all of you for your wonderful support of DQ aka Joe. He wasn't kidding when he said he wanted to spend a week in bed. He is eating well and remembering his trail angles Janet and Rox as the kindest of all.
Let’s talk potatoes. The starch is calling him. Orange pop, good food and popsicles will resurrect him soon.
I read a forum post on offtopic months ago about your hike and I've looked in periodically to see your progress. After looking at these pictures I'm really interested in making this hike. If you could provide some summary as to what kind of money you spent and what equiptment etc. you needed that'd be fantastic. I'm going to graduate college in the spring and would love to do something like this afterwards.
