id like to thank chuck for getting my package to me at the last minute. it was good to see a familiar face after a long while. Otherwise i have intermittent internet, next update maybe in independence CA?
Hi all, Chuck Eder, our friend who drove all day to deliver the big package (39 lbs overall which included 2-3 lbs. fresh fudge per Sheeps request, which I see from the pictures was nearly gone in the first few hours) has sent a bunch of pictures which I have sent on to Justin for possible posting. The most important item in the box was a new pair of shoes. The report was all positive, Joe is healthy and happy (that is putting it mildly).
Since Joe didn't much update his blog at Kennedy Meadows, I'd like to add this comment for the followers. Justin told me that Joe reported he woke up in the middle of the night with a mouse eating through his hat (which was on his head). I'm not sure what became of the hat, I don't see it in his latest round of pictures. Oh, the hazards of the trail.
